The Real World Design Challenge National event will be held at
the National 4-H Center located just outside of Washington, D.C.
Governors State Challenge Winners are invited to participate in the national event.
In 2010, 25 teams will receive an all-expense paid trip to compete
for the National Title. During this event, teams will be asked
to present, to a diverse panel of judges, their solutions to the
National Challenge. In addition to the competition, students will
attend presentations by scientists and engineers, tour the National
Mall and attend a reception and awards ceremony in downtown Washington,
DC.

** Coaches of teams
invited to participate in the 2009 National Event, MUST log
in to the RWDC Coach Secure Site and fill out the online forms.
All forms must submitted by March 3, 2010. In late February,
winning coaches will be contacted by Oak Ridge Institute for
Science and Education (ORISE) regarding travel arrangements.
